Each hot-melt glue machine has a capacity limit. When the hot-melt glue in the glue box is not less than 1/3, it needs to add hot-melt glue. The hot melt gluer can add glue while working, just open the glue box and add glue while working. People who use hot melt glue machine equipment sometimes find the phenomenon of smoking, which is a bad phenomenon and needs to be solved in time to avoid affecting the production of hot melt glue machine.

1. The operating temperature set by the machine is too high

Usually people feel that when using hot melt adhesive, the higher the temperature, the faster the glue will be melted and the faster the glue will be applied. Actually, this is a misunderstanding. When the hot melt adhesive melts, the speed of the melt and the temperature are roughly attenuated as an oscillation function curve, with peaks and troughs. Therefore, when setting the operating temperature of the machine, refer to the opinions of the hot melt adhesive manufacturer and set the operating temperature according to the actual production situation.

If there is smoke during the use of hot melt adhesive, you can lower the set temperature of the machine first. If there is still smoke, contact the relevant supplier to confirm whether the construction temperature is suitable.

2. Temperature control out of control

At present, there are mainly two kinds of glue melting equipment on the market, one is the glue box and the other is the extruder. For the glue box, part of the glue box is heated by the heating plate. When the hot-melt glue page is lower than the heating plate, the heating plate is exposed to the air, so it will continue to heat, resulting in the phenomenon of smoke in the glue box. In severe cases, there will even be gelling and carbon deposition. In this case, it is necessary to keep the level of the hot melt adhesive below the heating plate; some melt boxes are heated by a heating tube, which is the same as the extruder. It reflects the real-time temperature through the temperature sensor. Therefore, when the temperature sensor fails, the extruder and the heating tube type melt box will continue to heat the hot melt glue, causing the glue to smoke. Therefore, it is necessary to replace the equipment components of the machine in time for this situation.

3. The thermal stability of hot melt adhesive is too poor

Hot melt adhesives with poor thermal stability will experience deterioration problems such as large-scale main body decomposition during use. In this case, the manufacturer should be contacted promptly.
